God and Son

Poking the bloated corpse of religion with a pointy stick to hear it fart.

In your face… Erm… Black dot…

Don’t you hate that cop out answer the religionuts give when you ask why a caring god would give a small child cancer, or have a father rape their daughter, or have a person born with special needs…?

Truth is, the religionuts just don’t know how to deal with the issues.

Give me science & education over myths, fairies and prayer any day.

No Time

Once you get it into your thick skulls that you only have one chance at life, and that there is no heaven or hell… or reincarnation (although we are all stardust), then you can start living…

Prove it or Don’t

We make educated guesses at what the gaps in science might be. Eventually the technology catches up and we check to see if the educated guesses, based on prior data, match the actual answers.

Da Vinci figured out how an aeroplane would work, but didn’t have the technology to build one. Many years later & his scientific extrapolation was proved right.

Religion, on the other hand, has never been proven right. All the things that were once associated with Godly miracles, have slowly but surely been proved to have scientific basis and nothing miraculous at all.

Go figure.

Seven not so Deadly Sins

When was the last time you saw those proud American Christians form a protest march and argue against fat, lazy people?

No, really? Stop laughing…

No shouts from the religious groups to burn the fast food houses of sin!

No protests in front of gyms, where those movie star looks are honed, buffed & chiseled… No screams for plastic surgeons to be burnt or stoned…

Which is odd, as these are listed as some of the seven deadly (major) sins… Yet no one argued against fat, lazy, proud Americans when the election was on… No religious rallying to ban McDonalds or KFC in the more religious states… Nope, just that gay agenda… Not even a major sin.

It’s not just the Americans of course, although 74.6% of them are overweight, and around 80% worship God… So I guess sloth & gluttony aren’t in the American bible… but as I said, it’s not just the Americans. The British, French, Chinese, French, Italians, French, Africans, oh sod it, you name it …. they all have problems… unless you go to Northern Europe & the Scandinavian areas. Much less religion (and some of the healthiest people in the world…)

Look at those proud Ugandans, who now, at the very least, can jail someone for life for being homosexual… and worse still… If you are a Ugandan in another country, you can be extradited to Uganda if you are straight and only know a gay. If you are seen being a bit gay in public, then the sentence is a bit tougher. You will be killed. It’s the law.

And yet… The wrath, the pride that fuels these highly religious Christian law makers, is a far bigger sin than kissing someone of the same sex…

What a bunch of homophobic, hide behind the bible, uneducated morons.

Lets face it… Santa is a fatty… He likes to knock back the mince pies… So if you want to go to heaven, I suggest you stone that false idol, red suit wearing, fatty pie muncher to death. It’s the Christian way.

U C*** ~ U Ganda

By the end of 2012, Uganda’s internationally contentious “Kill the Gays” bill will become law.

The highly religious, highly Christian country has been trying to get this bill passed since 2009, and it faced a great deal of criticism on an international level along the way: several European countries threatened to reduce aid to the country if the bill was passed.

Speaker Rebecca Kadaga described the bill’s passing as a “Christmas gift” for the Ugandan people.

Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill (often called the “Kill the Gays bill” in the media) is a legislative proposal that would broaden the criminalisation of same-sex relations in Uganda by dividing homosexual behaviour into two categories: “aggravated homosexuality”, in which an “offender” would receive the death penalty, or “the offence of homosexuality” in which an offender would receive life imprisonment.

“Aggravated homosexuality” is defined to include homosexual acts committed by a person who is HIV-positive, is a parent or authority figure, or who administers intoxicating substances, homosexual acts committed on minors or people with disabilities, and repeat offenders.

“The offence of homosexuality” is defined to include same-sex sexual acts, involvement in a same-sex marriage, or an attempt to commit aggravated homosexuality.

It further includes provisions for Ugandans who engage in same-sex relations outside of Uganda, asserting that they may be extradited for punishment back to Uganda, and includes penalties for individuals, companies, media organisations, or non-governmental organisations that know of gay people or support LGBT rights.

Pope Homophobic Shocker!

Yeah, the old protector of rapists & stalwart of untruths, has once more made an illogical statement.

Pretty much as follows:

“The male leaders of the church who like to have sex with young boys, want to make homosexuality a thing of the past… “

Papal Prick.

How does he get away with it?

Well, when all of your supporters believe a magic book about virgin birth, water into wine, raping daughters & sacrificing sons, then I guess he thinks that he can get away with anything, as his followers will believe whatever he says… Without question or action.

Lest We Forget ~ It’s not about religion

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Some people don’t want to remember. Some would rather distance themselves from the reality of it all… And those people are born to make the same mistakes again…

Keeping The Distance

Beneath this earth young warriors sleep
Forever more, forever more,
And for what myth was it they died,
Who sent them here forever?
To bury them, so far away
From farm and village, hearth and soil?
We dare not ask of why or how,
We dare not think too hard of them!
We need not question of ourselves,
Of how we let them go so far,
So we may keep our distance safe
Can paint their pictures in our mind
Of how they sacrificed their lives;
Of how they died so willingly,
On land that did not give them birth,

Noblesse Oblige, they sleep the earth.
We know they did not wail or scream,
Nor cry nor piss their pants in fear!,
They did not spill their crimson guts
Through gaping wounds of steel-sliced flesh,
Or stare in numbness at their blood
That pulsed and squirted, stained the soil.

We know they did not weep for mother,
Nor curse their fate nor bawl in pain,
Or seek to find their missing limbs,
While dragging stumps through fiery ground,
Or smelled their own flesh, burning stench!
Nor whimpered soft through blood blind eyes,
As whistling breath through gaping throats
Shot out their life in scarlet spurts.

We do not wish them here at home
To find eternal, lasting sleep,
No, better stay in foreign lands,
Where they sacrificed their life,
No, t’is better they remain unseen,
To keep their distance and our dream
To keep them heroes, sight unseen,

For sure, they died as noble men,
Not terror-stricken sons and boys,
For if this myth were proved untrue,
How could we ever face ourselves?
How could we ever…be so cruel?

Remembrance Day

Anthem for doomed youth

What passing-bells for these who die as cattle?
Only the monstrous anger of the guns.
Only the stuttering rifles’ rapid rattle
Can patter out their hasty orisons.
No mockeries now for them; no prayers nor bells;
Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs, -
The shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells;
And bugles calling for them from sad shires.
What candles may be held to speed them all?
Not in the hands of boys but in their eyes
Shall shine the holy glimmers of goodbyes.
The pallor of girls’ brows shall be their pall;
Their flowers the tenderness of patient minds,
And each slow dusk a drawing-down of blinds.
