Okay, he says he wants to step down instead of going on as an ineffective old dead wood figure head, like the previous Pope. He worded it differently, but that’s pretty much the gist of it.
I hope the next Pope is a woman. A divorced lesbian at that.

On a brighter note, the prophecy of Malachy ends here. As I understand it, Benedict should’ve been the last pope. But that being the 111th verse, and the association of that with 666, the church added one more later. After that, it should be all over.
We may need to remind them to keep their word on that.
