But seriously, how can it take so long to chose the new Pope?
It’s a choice ‘GUIDED BY GOD’… and yet they’ve already had disagreements and one bad vote… Is God so pathetic that he can’t even guide the most religious & fervent of his followers?!?
That alone shows how screwed up the Church is, and how ineffectual this imaginary egocentric genocidal sky pixie really is.
If god can’t guide those most in touch with him into choosing a new Pope correctly first time, and not screwing up by choosing another quitter, at a time they know that god is with them then what chance does anyone else have for getting a prayer answered?
Okay, that’s a bit unfair, seeing as everyone has equal chance of getting a prayer answered… because IT’S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

At school “electing the Pope” was used by the staff as a euphemism for pupils smoking. We always denied it so they’d say “I see, have we a new Pope, then?”. We were all girls so I guess they were centuries ahead of their time.
Perhaps god is testing them to come up with the correct answer.
